This full upper deck rebuild was more than just a facelift. The original deck had started to fail and was letting water leak into the room below. So we stripped everything down to the bones and built it back better, starting with a brand-new rubber membrane system to fully seal off the space underneath. On top, we installed Timbertech composite decking for long-lasting durability and a beautiful, low-maintenance finish that will hold up to the elements for years to come. We wrapped it with a modern Westbury aluminum railing and added a custom cedar pergola for filtered shade, warmth, and a polished final touch that ties it all together beautifully.

But the upgrades didn’t stop there. The room below, once water-damaged and underused, is now a fully finished space with a dual purpose: a functional workshop and a relaxing sauna retreat. It’s private, practical, and the perfect year-round bonus space for both productivity and rest, no matter the season.
