Kitchen
June 2025
Hastings
This kitchen remodel in Denmark Township, Minnesota, focused on creating a more open layout, a key priority for the homeowner. We removed the wall and cabinets between the dining room and kitchen, and replaced the small double-pane window with a large Marvin awning window. This change opened up the view and brought in more natural light, offering a better connection to the surrounding property and wildlife.
The cabinetry is hickory with a medium-dark stain in the Charleston door style, finished in “Candy” from Holiday Kitchens. Casanova quartz countertops were installed and extended up the wall for a full-height backsplash, offering a clean, seamless surface.
Additional updates include luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring throughout the kitchen, a new large center island, recessed lighting for improved visibility, and a dedicated coffee and juice bar with a floating shelf and ample cabinet storage.
The updated design is a major improvement and supports how the homeowners use the space every day. They’re loving the new layout, which offers a better workflow for all their cooking and baking needs. If you’re thinking about remodeling your kitchen to better match your lifestyle, we’d be glad to help guide the process.
