After years of planning, these homeowners decided it was time for a kitchen remodel. Their home, built in 1998, still had all its original materials, like golden oak cabinets, laminate countertops, and a worn hardwood floor, so everything had to go.
The biggest change was removing the partition wall between the kitchen and living room. Opening up the space brought in more natural light and created a smoother flow between the two areas. New luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout helped tie the spaces together.
The new design includes white perimeter cabinets with the warmth of hickory at the island and coffee bar, complemented by honey bronze hardware. Cambria quartz countertops complete the look, with the island serving as the centerpiece. With three seating areas, the kitchen and adjoining space have become a functional and welcoming area for family and friends to gather.
