This homeowner came to us with the goal of a full bathroom remodel, with the top priority being to remove the old jacuzzi tub/shower combination and replace it with a tiled walk-in shower. Wanting a brighter, more modern space, we removed the existing finishes, including the dark oak cabinetry, laminate countertop, shiny brass fixtures, and dated tile flooring.

Working within the existing footprint, we redesigned the vanity layout to increase storage by adding a full-height linen cabinet. The lightly stained alder cabinetry is topped with polished quartz and paired with sleek sink fixtures in a bronzed gold finish. We kept tile flooring but updated it to a larger-format, dark charcoal gray tile, giving the room more dimension while grounding the space.

The spacious walk-in shower features two niches, a custom corner seat, and a unique tile pattern that adds visual interest to the design. While remodeling the bathroom, the homeowner also chose to update the stair railing system. We replaced the original oak millwork with new maple handrails and newel posts, paired with modern black iron balusters featuring scroll detailing. As one of the first things you see when entering the home, the custom railing system makes a strong first impression and adds a distinctive finishing touch to the remodel.
