Hugo Basement

"What we like best about our new basement- the increased usable space in our home! So many aspects- a work area for Greg; he had been working in the “cold dungeon” for years. An amazing family room to watch movies with surround sound and a great fireplace- the ambience is incredible. A place for the kids to play and have sleepovers with friends- a dry bar for them to get snacks from! A beautiful new bathroom with an amazing shower. Overall- we’d have to say the living area with linear fireplace is what we enjoy the most. "

"We absolutely loved working with everyone, start to finish. Russell Room Remodelers are a well-oiled machine. Everyone was able to lay out a timeline right away and made everything so easy for us. The most difficult thing we had to do was pick out the specifics, and LaRae was so helpful and patient with us during that- she was also so wonderful at scheduling and getting the ball rolling with everything. She and Caitlin have such an amazing artistic eye and provided me with so much helpful feedback when deciding on tile, carpet, etc. People came when they said they would. Jason was fantastic at overseeing the whole project and answering our many questions. He had wonderful ideas in some unique situations regarding how our space would be best utilized, and how to make our ideas come to life as well. He was constantly in communication with us. Darin- what an amazing guy! He became a part of our family for a couple of months as he was there so much. He took great pride and care in his work, and always made sure that we were happy with the results. The ledge he did around the basement was tricky- and it turned out beautifully. The subcontractors were all great as well- came on time and finished in a timely matter. We had one issue with the countertop guys- accidentally knicked a cabinet that was in, but Jason and Darin immediately made it right. Darin the carpet guy was wonderful, too! I’ll admit we miss seeing everyone- they were all at our house so much and made this whole process as seamless as it possibly could have been. We’ve been recommending Russell Room Remodelers to everyone we know with projects to be done. That was probably way more than you needed, but we have so many good things to say about everyone- it was hard to condense! We’re so thankful to everyone for their hard work and helping to make our dream basement happen (that we waited for for 16 years)!"
