Descriptions

We originally finished this Woodbury basement in 2021 with just the basics—a family room and a bathroom. In 2024, the homeowners returned with a phase 2 plan to enhance the space to better suit how they were using it.

At the bottom of the stairs, we added a dry bar/work area. The white cabinetry matched the existing trim throughout the basement. Designed for multifunctional use, this space offers storage, a place to work or eat, and a mini fridge for beverages and snacks—ideal for entertaining. Sakura White quartz with black veining completes the look of the bar area.

We also finished the TV area with built-in cabinetry and shelving. This provides organized storage for gaming and entertainment equipment, along with space for display. The wood countertop in a Pebble Gray finish adds contrast against the Snow Drift white cabinetry.

This phase 2 project brought the basement to completion and shows how a space can be finished in stages. It’s a great option for homeowners who want to spread out the investment over time.

Thinking about finishing or updating your basement? Let’s talk about how to make the most of your lower level—whether you’re starting from scratch or ready for phase two.
