Oakdale Kitchen

This complete kitchen remodel in Oakdale, Minnesota, brought fresh life to a dated space. The original kitchen featured a small eat-in area and a formal dining room separated by a wall. The homeowner wanted to combine the dining spaces, expand the kitchen, and add a center island and walk-in pantry.

We started by removing the wall between the kitchen and formal dining room, extending the kitchen and adding a convenient corner walk-in pantry. The new large center island, with stunning quartz countertops, became the centerpiece, complemented by contrasting darker quartz on the perimeter countertops.

To make better use of the space, we replaced the old railing in the eat-in area with a capped half wall and custom-built bench seating, perfect for gathering around the dining table. This created an open-concept layout, seamlessly blending the kitchen and dining areas into one inviting space.

For a more cohesive, updated look, we added new stair railings that matched the bench and wall cap in lighter wood tones. Can lights and under-cabinet lighting were installed to brighten the room, enhancing the warm and refreshed atmosphere of this beautifully updated kitchen.
